Hello!
- My name is Anayatzin Velázquez. I’m a doctor, and I’ve been married to my
- handsome husband Ramiro for 9 years. I’m also a mom to three beautiful children:
- Maximiliano, who is 7 years old; Matías, who is 6 years old; and Marcelo, who is 2
- years old.
WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND WHERE DO YOU CALL HOME?
- I was born in a small city in Mexico called Zacatecas. In 2009, I moved to
- Guadalajara (the city of Mariachi and Tequila). I got married there in 2015, and my
- two sons Max and Matías were born there. We moved to The Woodlands in
- December 2021 due to my husband’s work. We live in Creekside (Timarron) and
- are very happy here. I can say that our home is here in The Woodlands, and my
- family and I absolutely love it.
INTRODUCE YOUR KIDDOS:)
- Maximiliano is 7 years old, born in Mexico, and he’s the oldest. He’s in 2nd grade
- of Elementary School. Matías is 6 years old, also born in Mexico, and he’s
- currently in 1st grade of Elementary School. Finally, there’s Marcelo, who is 2
- years old and started attending daycare a few days a week this August.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN STROLLER STRIDING, AND HOW DID YOU FIND US?
- I arrived in The Woodlands at 32 weeks pregnant (7 months), and I started looking for classes for pregnant women because I needed to stay active, get out, and have some time for myself. I searched online, on Facebook, and I happened to find Fit4Mom. My first class was Fit4Baby on January 12, 2022, at Rob Fleming Park. I remember that Cassie taught the class, and I loved it.
- However, I could only attend three more classes because I got COVID towards the end of my pregnancy. I resumed Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre classes in April 2022. Currently, I attend more Body Well and Body Boost classes because they challenge me to keep moving and exercising. Plus, it’s an hour dedicated just to me, and I absolutely love it.
SHARE A HIDDEN TALENT
- Well, it’s not exactly a talent, but since the pandemic, I discovered that I’m very
- crafty. I started doing activities and crafts with my kids, and they love it—and so do I!
FAVORITE AND CHALLENGING MOM MOMENT
- My favorite moments are when we’re together as a family. Seeing everyone happy is the best feeling for me. The most challenging part has been dealing with my children’s illnesses or accidents, and setting limits.
WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK TO FIT4MOM
- I feel so happy in this community. I’ve made several friends, and sharing
- experiences, expressing how I feel, and knowing that I’m not alone and not the
- only one feeling overwhelmed by motherhood is incredibly comforting.
- It’s a community where you’ll always find support in all aspects of motherhood.
- I’m grateful to Bri and the entire team because since I joined the community, they have always been kind and wonderful to me. Thank you for making me a part of this beautiful Fit4Mom community
